Account Deletion & Data Erasure Policy
Overview
This policy explains how users of PaySita can request deletion of their account and associated personal data, and what to expect after the request is processed.
1. How to Request Deletion
- By email: Send a request from your registered email to
info.gspvtltd@gmail.comwith subject Account Deletion Request.
Please include your registered mobile number and email. Reason is optional.
2. Verification
To protect your account we will verify identity via OTP, email confirmation, or additional KYC if required by law.
3. After Deletion
- Your account will be deactivated and you will lose access to the Services.
- Personal data will be deleted or anonymized where permitted.
- Certain records (e.g., transaction logs) may be retained for legal, tax or regulatory reasons.
4. Retention Exceptions
We may retain data when required by law, to prevent fraud, to resolve disputes or to comply with tax/regulatory rules. Typical retention periods for financial records range by law (for example, 5–10 years where applicable).
5. Timeline
- Account deactivation: typically within 7 working days after verification.
- Complete erasure (where applicable): typically within 30 working days.
6. Impact & Re-registration
- Remaining balances, rewards or benefits may be forfeited.
- Linked bank accounts, cards or UPI IDs will be unlinked.
- Re-registering will require fresh KYC and previous data won't be restored.
